The safety and welfare of our students is of prime importance to all staff at Ardmay House International Summer School. Students are supervised 24 hours per day and our welfare provision has been highlighted as a Point of Excellence.
All our instructional staff are highly qualified with the relevant National Governing Board qualifications and operate to the high standards expected by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority. Risk assessments are carried out for all activities and excursions.
We are regularly inspected by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service (AALS). Our AALS licence number is: R1166. Further details for AALS can be checked at: www.aals.org.uk
All members of staff have had Criminal Record Bureau checks carried out by Disclosure Scotland. We have a child protection policy in place and staff are given full training in child protection and welfare.
